I'm surprised more entries didn't use vertical perspective rather than horizontal. It's a good idea, and the word play on the shape of the framework as a ladder makes a good point.

I really like the glow on the background leaf, but it distracts slightly from the smaller version. It would've been nice to have the small leaf slightly sharper or brighter/darker to highlight it a touch more.

Background leaf looks like a surreal landscape with a forked road. I want to dive in and go exploring :).

Gave it an 8, probably deserved a 9 in retrospect.

Been there done that ~~~~ tooka similar picture in 1977... DON'T bother with the corporate ladder it will interfer with your photographic skills... Please believe me... keep making great pictures ...it's much better for your soul.
