Beautiful shot, but why submit it to this challenge if it doesn't meet the criteria? If the result was all that mattered, then what's the point of meeting a challenge by breaking the primary rule of it?

Congrats on yet another *yawn* ribbon. It's a beautiful scene. Heh- you really poked a hornet's nest with this one, but I can't fault someone for doing what they're legally allowed to do. This may well lead to some modification of future challenges, so you should be proud to be a facilitator of change... something that doesn't happen very often! ;-)

Love the image and I ranked it very high. I still think it is one the best images I've seen on this site. Unfortunately, I wish I could retract the vote knowing you didn’t follow the rules or sprit of the competition. It’s not fair to the rest of the photographers who followed the rules and didn’t deceive the voters.
