C'mon gimme a break, there is NO character flaw here! He followed the Rules and the rules CLEARLY state that you CANNOT be DQ'd for NOT meeting the challenge! Get this in your heads before harping about this over and over. Go read the Challenge rules.

Good to see you can make lovely shots without using all you PS chops. I like what you do in post processing, you have created a look that is pretty distinctive, and this is not it. It is sort of like a rock guitarist doing an acoustic set, nice in and of itself, and a nice display of range.

If you shoot and enter challenges to score well and win ribbons then you succeeded. if you shoot and enter to share wonderful photography then you succeeded. If you shoot and enter to challenge yourself given the parameters of the topic, then I think you failed. DPC ultimately is a learning tool as we all agree. And the question I guess would be, what did you learn here?
