Eternalby elsapoComment by KevinRiggs: I'm not a huge fan of the white border but the shot is great. Lovely, warm tones to compliment the colors of the butterfly. |

Under the Texan Sunby elsapoComment by LalliSig: This is pretty cool but I think I would have liked it better had you used a bigger aperture or longer lens or whatever you needed to do to make the DOF shallower, the reason I am saying so is that this shot is too busy for my taste and the butterfly and sun don´t stand out as much as they could do if that were not the case. LOVE the composition though, nice work on that one :) 6 from me. |

Under the Texan Sunby elsapoComment by atupdate: From yout title I know that the sun is an important part of this composition to you; however, cropping it out may allow you to balance the saturation and contrast better to help make the colors of the butterfly pop. You may also want to consider cropping this into a horizontal image, as the negative space to the right of the butterfly is add more to the image than the space above the butterfly. |

Gleams of Daylightby elsapoComment by sanx: This is very artistic and elegant. The DP voters can be a bit narrow in their tastes.
The image is lovely, I just don't like the border. The extra black lines distract the eye from the smoothness of the actual picture.
Good job dude. |

I Will Follow the Sun No Moreby elsapoComment by agenkin: A nice still life, but I think that, composition-wise, it is quite disballanced. THe left side of the frame weighs a lot more than the right one. IMO it would be better to balance it by either shifting the vase to the right, or include something else in the right top or bottom corner, for example. |

Yeah it's a great shot Justin. However, an overlay texture has been added. So It can't be entered. Great post processing on this one. |
