this is great on so many levels, and for so many reasons. the principal thing is the overall look and style of the shot, makes the whole thing very period. i love the colours, the sett pavings, the way she seems to be levitating. great clothing too. the only slight thing is the weird lighting behind her outstretched arm and the slight halo effect round her back, seems like slightly wrong burning or dodging... but it's a relatively minor thing; overall this is a great example of great, characterful and stylish photography. 9.
