I do like the image as-is. I gave it an 8. But I do think that it might have been improved by focusing on the face and hand more. There is so much emotion in the face and showing more detail there with a tighter crop, and getting rid of the extraneous, sort of fake looking torso, might have helped some. But like I said, I do like it. :-)

I have seen a similar type of image before, this is very well done, just a bit stiff.
