I SO agree with you, Simms! I've been lobbying DP's SC to use the same software that they use for "buddy voting" on this type of thing! I also feel that if there were stronger "voter's qualifications" that might help keep the Trolls at bay!

This was one darned great piece of work and those low scores just dampened the score it truly deserved!

OMG! I'm surprised that you are surprised by the 8+ score and blue ribbon :) !! I'm also surprised that everyone who saw it didn't give it a 10! But then. . .I see there were a few insecure, jealous trolls in force. Jeeeeeeeez, this is one of the most spectacular works of art I've ever seen.

Congratulations on your blue ribbon. I was one of your 53 9's. You may wonder why I held back from the 10, it is only that to me the final result seemed more like illustration than photograpy, so that I couldn't bring myself to give it a 10. Beautiful job, nonetheless. I strongly suspected this would win the challenge (as it did).
