great texture and tones and an interesting composition of horizontal layers.

I keep coming back to this. The pelicans are impossibly big. The light on the tire is insanely beautiful. Pollution has never looked so good. But most important, this is an image I've never seen before. Posthumous Red Ribbon.

I like the dichotomy of beautiful birds, which the pollution; the tire, smoking ship, and smog all provide this contrast.

Love all the back ground I think it makes the photo. The bird is so Sharpe and bright the back ground blurry and dull.

I do not like the top or bottom framing. contrast is a little soft and so is the focus on the bird. Otherwise an interesting composition. And I like the ship entering from the pother side and that it is soft in focus.

I like the DOF....the background is blurred enough but no so much so we can't make out the habitat. It shows that these birds are common in coastal cities.
