Philadelphia by Nightby jmleliiComment by dsa157: a nice cropped view of the city. I like the lighting except for the blown highlights on the lighter buildings. The "Locust on the Park" sign is an unfortunate distraction to an otherwise clean cityscape. |

Philadelphia by Nightby jmleliiComment by lizzyc3: Pretty! A tad bright but I really like the boldness and arrogance of those colors- they wanna be there and they don't care if it's getting dark, damn it they're gonna look good. This is great- I really like it- 9 |

Philadelphia by Nightby jmleliiComment by Beagleboy: Nice cityscape but you have no object in foregroud of any kind, therefore no way for us to judge the deepness of the depth of field. Those buildinfs all far enough away that the lens set at infinity takes the shot no problem. Should have kept some foreground elements. |

Philadelphia by Nightby jmleliiComment by e301: Er ... slight issue with the 'night' bit from where I'm looking :-) Don't really see this fitting - your subject is in such a flat plane, and so distant, that depth of field, deep or shallow, has little to do with anything. Technically a good cityscape, but had you waited for the sky to darken a bit more it would probably have more impact. As it stands, whilst being a perfectly competent shot technically, it lacks much impact for me. 5 |
