Winter is odd!by annapiComment by dadas115: I am not sure I understand how this one is out of place but I like the picture. I wish I could see the pink color of the blossoms a little better and I also wish I could see more of the mountains in the background. I would also probably like the picture better if there was a definite subject. If you had a closer flower in the foreground that could be the dominant subject it might be nice.

Hotel Sunby annapiComment by JoelHSmith: It's extream... but I like the effect sometimes... I'm assuming its inversed. I did it on the last challenge and took quite a hit (bad) for doing it. (dilapidated for "paralell lines" challenge). Thanks for putting up something strange. |

Hotel Sunby annapiComment by ElGordo: Negative made it orange but I think it spoiled an otherwise excellent composition. |

Hotel Sunby annapiComment by AmiYuy: Turning it into a "negative" is not taking an interesting picture. Yes, there is a lot of orange, but it was no in the original. Try cropping more on the left to cut off the lonely spire edge and then add more of the tree to the right of the hotel. Score: 3 |

Hotel Sunby annapiComment by Neil: Not sure what you were going for here, just looks like a negative to me.
My advice is that most of the time, very "manipulated" images like this won't do well in a competition. The image might have been ok in normal format, though it looks like it might need ome perspective correction per the tower. |
