A Son and His Dogby loudzgamerComment by Koriyama: For me, the challenge was to use the off-centredness in some purposeful way to aid the photograph. Here, I get the impresssion that the subject might as well be in any part of the frame. |

Safe Landingby loudzgamerComment by e301: I've come to this through the 350D page - and I can't believe it isn't up near the top of that page. There are certainly elements I'd want to correct with another session - impact would be gained from a crop that placed the skater a touch more strongly, and keeping an entire shadow would have emphasised the disconnection from the ground - but your sense of the graphic in the background, the brightness and toning across those surfaces really speak of the bright sun - those should surely have got you a higher score ... neat work |
