The lighting is pretty flat, so there's no interesting shadows and highlights. Composition is also rather static with distracting elements in the background. Maybe try shooting from a slightly lower angle, and move in a little close on the food.

overall i'm not impressed with the amount of silhouette front-line subjects in this challenge. if someone was to read all of my comments in this challenge they'd see a very strong trend and several copy/paste comments.
i really like the sky you're showing here, but the silhouetted barbed wire along with the black land at the bottom of the frame are very detracting in my opinion.
