Running Outby Gene L.Comment by Kavey: I like the clarity of detail in both objects very much but am not convinced about their positioning. With so much black space they seem to me to be slightly too marginalised in the overall frame. 6, Kavey |

Running Outby Gene L.Comment by joanns: Wow, my eyes keep darting back and forth. the goblet, the watch, the goblet, the watch. Very interesting shot. |

Running Outby Gene L.Comment by Amphian: Great clarity and focus. I like how the objects float in the background. I wish I could see the color version of this. |

Running Outby Gene L.Comment by Wooly: This doesn't really fit the 'negative space' catagory, but it is an excellent composition.... |

Running Outby Gene L.Comment by Froober: This is a beautiful image...technically awesome photo. I'm not quite sure what the message of it is though...look forward to hearing about it after the challenge. 9 Lisa |

Running Outby Gene L.Comment by DigiPique: I never knew that some pocket watches had the dial rotated left a quarter turn!! Very nice contrasts and monochromatic tones here. |

Running Outby Gene L.Comment by Yomi: Running out of water, or of time? This is a cool shot. I still haven't figured out how you all do a black background like this. It works in this shot. I like the water trickle going into the glass. 7 |

Running Outby Gene L.Comment by karmat: I also think just the glass without the watch would be effective. Very elegant looking. Nice focus. I think a neat thing to do (outside of DPC) would be to have it all greyscale except for lime/lemon and have it really brilliant. Good lighting and focus. karmat |

Running Outby Gene L.Comment by GinaRothfels: I'm not sure I get the relationship between the two items. I'd have preferred it if you'd only used the glass. |
