Dance of the Tulip Leavesby mluComment by Covert_Oddity: Don't think the lighting flatters this particularly. It also sits in that middle ground where it's not close enough to be abstract but not far enough to be complete so it lacks any real viewing interest for me. |

Communionby mluComment by MEJazz: Kinda wish you'd had left all three chalices unsaturated instead of only one. Also there is a bit more noise on the image than I'd like to see - perhaps its cropped too much from a bigger image? Anyway bit more NR could have helped or going other way adding more graininess on purpose could made this more interesting. |

Communionby mluComment by EL-ROI: A good chosen scene. Not sure if all the cups were the same color but if they were, they should all have been left colored. Other improvements would be to darken the shadows and to use a wider aperture or selectively blur the background in PP. |

Communionby mluComment by Mike: ..who drinks the water I shall give him, says the Lord, will have a spring inside him welling up for eternal life. Let them bring me to your holy mountain in the place where you dwell. Across the desert and through the mountain to the Canyon of the Crescent Moon, to the Temple where the cup that - where the cup that holds the blood of Jesus Christ resides forever. |

Stone Gazeboby mluComment by ArnaMarie: Something strange is going on in the background of this image. The top left corner looks like there is a wall behind the gazebo, but when I look through the gazebo I see what I assume is the sky. A pitty, because besides that it is a decent image :) |

Communionby mluComment by Beetle: I find it disappointing that the edges of the cup were selected messily. A pretty easy job and really should be done to perfection.
Just in case you truly couldn't get it perfect, I'd be happy to teach you how if you like. |

Return from Civil War by mluComment by PaulFrocchi: I really like the subject and the comp on this one. I didn't score it very high (4) because I felt it may have been a 'button push' on the post work. I always hesitate to comment critically like that because I don't know what software you're using and MORE IMPORTANTLY...we all have different tastes. But I wanted to explain why I gave the score I did. It feels like an HDR image. May be single frame with the HDR adjustment applied. What influenced my score was that I felt it has flatten out the image too much. Moving everything to similar brightness/contrast levels. Good luck! |

Stone Gazeboby mluComment by ray_mefarso: nice, but without any extra punch (more contrast, hdr, extreme wide angle, whatever) it doesn't keep the viewer gazing long |

Just keep swimming!by mluComment by VBW: What I like:
- the expression of the fish and framing of the shot
What I don't like:
- picture's focus is soft
Overall: I was briefly fooled that the fish were real- but once I saw more than the thumbnail I saw they were stone? Still nicely framed
