An appealing image that meets the challenge well.

An apt choice of subject Marcel. I quite like that you have tried to inject some creativity into the scene with your tilted composition. In respect of the challenge whilst you have met the brief I donĂ¢€™t think you have made as much of it as perhaps you could have. Instead of showing the whole of the machine I would have probably gone in closer on the business end, the drill, so that you could more clearly see the man in his cab and with the focus clearly on the man this would have placed much more emphasis on the man and in doing so more fully met the challenge.

An appealing image that meets the challenge.

An effective composition Marcel, well captured. I like the colour and textures but what makes the image even more appealing is the timing and juxtaposition of the people and the way they are interacting both with the setting and with each other in your image. One very minor point to watch out for, your position ought to have moved slightly so that the background structure thats intruding ever so slightly on the bottom curve of the foreground could have been obscured. It could be cloned but its much easier to move position.
