I wonder how you did this with standard editing, anyway it's a good idea, just a little clumsily put together. The coffee beans in the foreground are out of focus, and the corrugated or striped background is not pleasing to the eyes, a plain background would've suited this image. Having said that I commend you trying.

Very anonymous. In a Free Study I've probably have given this an 8 or 9. For this challenge I think you've taken the easy way out.

An interesting image that contributes well to the open challenge

It looks like an interesting location you have here Marcel, thanks for the write up. The chimney in the background and the shape of the bridge add interest to the scene. I think a little judicial cropping of the arch on the left would have improved it I find the lower left quite distracting. A crop removing the lamppost is what I would suggest.
