Reminds me of a beached whale. How many people must have lost their jobs when this closed. Like a depression era (1930's) documentary photograph, it just presents the fact for contemplation. Nicely framed by trees and sky.

Oh my, what a behemoth!

The color saturation certainly emphasizes the rust. Effectively composed. Not necessarily very emotive, but it certainly conveys the hard facts of abandonment.

One of my favorite titles in this challenge.
