The Disproportionate Nature of Apathyby myceliumComment by hopelessoptimist: one thing I've felt my photos have been lacking, generally speaking, is a theme or concept behind them... I tend to take pictures for challenges that I think "look cool" but are otherwise pointless
Exactly my struggle. I've written so much and have so many ideas but translating them into planned photographs is a real struggle. I look forward to more of your work. |

Somewhereby myceliumComment by nomad469: I think that the duotone is a bit overdone although I like the way he is opened up some ... the subject is not as sharp as he could be (some USM would help) overall-5 |

Somewhereby myceliumComment by taterbug: Nice composition. The road has great lines. Placement of your subject is very good, that and the lines command attention to the subject. I really like your treatment of the image. And a good concept for the challenge to boot. Great job. |

whispersby myceliumComment by Nald: I like your idea, nice b/w study. Focus seems a bit off, think you could have burnt in more than just around the edges to make for a more dramatic photo. |

Somewhereby myceliumComment by LeeD: I like the sepia tones, but the model looks way too posed. His skin tones look a tad offish (too light). The placement of the guitar case seems unnatural. |
