"Peace and Quiet"by johnnydComment by Artifacts: This is interetsing because it communicates silence in there ways: 1-Silence is needed to concentrate on reading. 2-The door silences the crying baby. 3-The "No Solicitors" sign silences interruptions by unwanted peddlers.
Nicely done. |

"Peace and Quiet"by johnnydComment by blueswolf58: I like the composition and that there's a story behind the picture. Nice how woman's shadow leads you up to the child. Not the usual 'tape or index finger over the mouth' shot. Thanks for giving us something different and interesting to look at. :) I''m curious to see how this would look in B&W also. |

"Peace and Quiet"by johnnydComment by boomer: Well, almost. Bet she can still hear the little one knocking at the door! Nonetheless, I think your picture captures the theme very well, and with a good dose of originality. Poor little guy looks SO unhappy! On a side note, I'm alternately happy / unhappy with the red No Solititors sign, which distracts me. If you had control over it, you might have removed it for this shot. Just a thought. |

"Peace and Quiet"by johnnydComment by drydoc: I can just hear the comments: Oh! How cruel!!! I know the feeling! I don't know if the sign was accidental or not but it adds a nice touch. Nice crisp shot. BOL |
