Comment by jomari:
I really like that each panel has its own character. I particularly love the one with the circular swirls.

I believe that in general statues need to be photographed because they live through light.
That's the case here where the statue became what you wanted it to express.

I object strongly when they are photographed "in perfect light" to see it in all details, removed from any context and ready to be plopped in a catalogue.

Comment by mariuca:
The colors here are bewitching.
There is the whole color palette of the geographical places from where these fishmongers came; some of red obviously from Russia, pink from China, turquoise and blue from the old soviet states, Tajikistan and such, grey from the memories...nothing is fresh here, all is still menacing and there is also a locksmith info to possibly help should the iron curtain falls.

One of the reasons I enjoy exploring urban neighborhoods by foot. Advertisement of course but a trip to the aquarium too. I like how you used the entire square, cropping mid-text on top and bottom.

I have never seen fish swim backwards before.
Since I can't read the sign, that was my first thought - that the image had been reversed or taken in a mirror or something. I recognized my error almost immediately, but then I kind of liked the whimsy of the shot. The two on the bottom look as if they have indeed decided to turn around and swim for their lives away from some menace. The one on the top is a little slow to react, but from its expression, I don't think it will be long in joining them. It would no longer be square, but to keep this going, I would crop the top and lose all the English language tags. I LOVE the colors, too.

Whilst I like the fish I'm drawn the the shutters on the left and can imagine all manner of graffiti on them.

Endearing. They also form a shape of an improvised locomotive toy.

I can see them, standing there all goggling at the scenery around them. Two of them are nuns, I fancy.
