Round & Roundby qmdiComment by Kavey: I really like this very much indeed. The repetition of shapes - the foreground circle and ferris wheel - works very well. The texture is good. The viewpoint is very unusual. I like that the foreground isn't just framing but actually as interesting as the scene it frames. Really great image, and black and white is perfect. |

Round & Roundby qmdiComment by boomer: I LOVE this picture. Great framing (including the yellow or gold line). Cropped perfectly. I have no idea what the round ring is, of course, but it makes a stunning "frame" for the amusement park in the background. I'd put one of these on my wall! |

Round & Roundby qmdiComment by Rtwo: I like the use of black and white. Nicely shot... excellent depth of field. |

Marital Bliss?by qmdiComment by Artifacts: The voters really missed the mark on this image that depicts conflict in a unique way. Keep up the good work. The distracting door or whatever it is on the right side is not enough to score this one so low. |

Marital Bliss?by qmdiComment by Olyuzi: Can't tell if this is a nose to nose argument or a kiss about to happen. No way of telling with their body language. Also, the crack of the doorway is sticking out of the woman's head and is distracting. |

Marital Bliss?by qmdiComment by JPR: Where's the conflict? It's hard to tell what shadows are doing? Are they kissing? fighting? is she being pushed into a corner and beaten? who knows? The fact that his shadow is so much bigger than hers may be revealing. I think this is a very good photograph but not that well suited for the challenge. 8 |
