An potentially interesting shot. You have a lot of colors to work with, a charming setting and a beautiful background. First of all I would submit your pic at the full 640 pixels allowed so we get the full effect. Maybe a polarizer could have helped to reduce the glare from the sand. All in all a good photo, lighting was a bit harsh.

NOt a bad image - but you should definately take advantage of the full 640 pixels - then I'd be able to make out some of the details which would undoubtedly improve this shot a lot.

what a charming image. i love all the colors, and really wish i was there and not here right about now! i hope you're getting some good comments and suggestions, and not getting lost in the shuffle of this huge challenge. i might suggest that you submit slightly larger images so that all the wonderful details are easier to see. if this image isn't scoring where you wanted it to, please don't take it personally. just look at this as a starting point for the rest of the year! good luck in this and the coming challenges!

great shot! So many lovely colors, but man posting size is too small. Will eb shot down for that and that only. u can use upto 640 in width. A shame as most will mark you down for that - i usualy would but the pho to is good which makes a change so I don't want to hurt it. 9
