Flowersby kellianComment by scalvert: The lily 'subjects' look yellow when surrounded by so much overpowering orange color. A contrasting black or blue background might have been beter. |

Flowersby kellianComment by obstetrify: I presume you have c hosen your viewpoint and taken the picture from well above the flowers. The trouble is that it makes them look a bit top-heavy, but I can see that the flowers, not the vase are the subject so I suppose it is legit. |

Flowersby kellianComment by bledford: Beautiful. One of the few photos in this challenge that has a background color that highlights and adds value to the composition. If it were a little more contrasty and didn't have the (very) minor DOF issue, I'd give it a 9/10, as it stands it's an 8. Lovely work. |
