I like the way the colours on the floor act as a pastel version of the colours in the globe. I also like the way that you used the glare from the light to act as the sun, as the title suggests. It would be interesting to see this done with the lights off and using a torch as a light source to take it to the extreme level. The only negative comment I have is that the tag that's hanging off the globe detracts a bit from the image. Good Luck with the challenge.

I like the globe, and its obviously a miniature, but maybe if you had sat it on a map it may have looked more appropriate to the challenge.

Good focus on the model, except for some areas toward the northwest end of Africa - but I think it is due to the competing stonework in the model. Not so much your fault. I would have used a different pattern to set the model on. The bumps in the tabletop pattern are a bit distracting.

plastic tag clips are easy to associate size with, but I think you could have done something that would work with the image a bit better.

Very nice focus and lighting. Honestly, not a lot of "interest" for me. I think I would have cut off the little cord, also.
