OK, time to fess up & be honest.

I have looked at this shot over & over, and thought it was a scalvert original and placed well, it just didn't do "something" for me.
Don't get me wrong, as it's all done right, just maybe isn't my kind of shot? I certainly won't be a hypocrite and add to the ooohs and ahhs just to go with eveyone else. You are a very creative and gifted photographer, but as we all know, nobody can please everybody all the time.

Respectfully, and hopefully still friends?

I agree with you...the black & white is nice but I think the splash of color really works with this photo (especially the eyes). Great idea, great photo.
