A very appropriate title, and I like your idea of differring contrasts here. There seem to be three phases. The tree at the front is in high contrast, the trees behind less and the cemetary out the back even less, as if it is in the fog (which I guess it is).

oh! these layers are marvelous, the big curving limbs of the trees are SO impressive and make arches like a gothic church. And beyond it all the stones of a cemetery. 11 (oops wish I could!)

You can't have two solid, hard objects and then a plastic-looking, clear object right next to it. You're breaking up the theme of the picture and confusing your viewers. Think of every picture you take as an instantaneous moment from a good story--all the elements are working towards one specific idea, combing to complement (not substitute for) each other.
