I am confident that someone of your artistic aptitude will not find discouragement in your placement for this challenge. As I was going through the results I thought, "How would Henri Cartier-Bresson have fared in the challenges at DPC?" Not too well, I am afraid. I have said I would rather one person NEEDED to see my photograph than one thousand who liked seeing my photograph. If no one else, I needed to see this photograph. Thank you.

I really like the creative take on this shot. Beauty is so subjective, though. I think it's a very good photo although it doesn't really convey "beauty" to me personally. I like the dof, the water droplets, the balance of the composition and I even like the tone (which I'm sure will get mixed reviews.) The lighting and exposure add interest and it's not a "flat" looking shot. Overall, a pretty high score from me.

Intriguing, almost abstract image of a rope on the beach. Feels a touch tilted but I love the way the rope leads me in. Nicely toned too.
