Oleanderby sherComment by e301: I kind of like what seems to be the root of this image, but I don't much care at all for whatever it is that your processing has done to it - were it not for the depth of field, I would say it looks just like a 150% crop from a Fuji digital compact. Most odd, but too much about the weird process thing than about photography - in fact, I think you've actually masked the photography with this processing. |

Oleanderby sherComment by Olyuzi: I like the grain, but find your choice of sepia toning a questionable as there is a lack of contrasts that help to diferentiate the various parts of the petals. |

Brierby sherComment by Brad: Ha! Just saw Justine's comment and was exactly what I was thinking when I saw it before seeing hers - All Boy. Great expression captured.
More smiles over here on the West Coast again! |

Oleanderby sherComment by Shannon: I absolutely love the photo, the black and white works excellent here which I usually wouldn't think it would with a flower image but here it is exquisite! Very nicely done. Best of luck to you! 10 |

Oleanderby sherComment by tazza: mmh, I might be completely wrong but it looks overprocessed to me, the out of focus parts look filtered. creative shot though, not your average flower pic! 6 |

The Tie That Bindsby sherComment by Brad: This type of shot would be so perfect as a book cover, with the text in the upper section.
Pretty cool macro sher - not a DPC mass appeal as you already know due to your style,
but I'm glad to see you have stayed with your own path, rather than losing the feel and shooting only for the voters.
btw -get all the sand out of your drawers after taking it? LOL |
