This is a magnificent shot of a bit of food - pin-sharp close-up with bold colours and all. All those fives and sixes must mean a lot of people saw this as an honest interpretation of the challenge but nothing to write home about. Some of the winners were 'more abstract', but I'd find it hard to justify others for being so far above this.
Holding it in chopsticks with a bokeh background might have got you something - at least a steady hand badge.

I have to be honest, the decapitated head thing just doesn't work for me here. the lighting needs some work as well...it's too uniform. nice concept though :)
