Hmm, not sure that this person knows how to play the flute... she certainly has a strange way of holding it.

Very nicely captured indeed as the light here is just right.

Very cute idea, nice composition and good lighting and choice of background. This works well as a black and white/sepia tone.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

This is an interesting shot. It meets the challenge without a doubt but there is something about it that both fasinates me and bothers me. It's well done, the composure, the clarity overall but there is touch of graininess that seems just a bit, a very little bit much. Also the negative space around the edge seems a bit much to me. While the subject is well centered and certainly draws your attention because it is brighter than the rest the large amount of border or black space ends up being a distraction to me.

The color of the white on the clock face seems a bit dark also and yes, my monitor is calibrated. I think if it was a more sharp contrast, brighter, popped out more it might have done a bit better.

I like this shot overall and hope this helps.

Hmmmm... this is one of the photos that made me laugh out loud. The good professor gets a 10 on his student review.

This is the most handsome man on the face of the earth, in the world today, ever, of all time. Nice picture. I love the B/W imagery and the rotary dirter. I love the way the bricks look. The beard is a nice touch also. He's wearing a nice shirt.
I give it a 10, oh crap it's a members challenge and I am not a member.
