The Rideby comelyrowComment by srikant: Cannot fathom the photographer's intention here. If it is the motion capture then it is not evident from the picture. If it is the expression on subject's face then also it is not clear. The picture is overexposed. Message edited by author 2004-02-21 00:26:32. |

The Rideby comelyrowComment by Pidd: I rarely give out 1's, but I did on this photo and so I would like to comment to tell you why. I think I understand why you might have submitted such a blurry, unfocused shot, trying to show motion, but in this case, it simply doesn't work. It's bothersome to the eye since there is absolutely nothing in focus. The overexposure is unappealing and washes out the details of the child's face and, particularly, smile. The pole on the left suggests there may be something of interest over there, but since we don't know what, it's unimportant to the shot and perhaps even a distraction (as is the blue thing in the background). In my opinion, this is just a snapshot gone horribly wrong. I propose trying again only this time, work to capture that expression instead of hiding it behind a big bright blur. |

The Rideby comelyrowComment by GoodEnd: Sorry, sometimes we need to speak... What is this? This seems to be taked by a 2 years boy or when you take the camera and accidentally press the shutter-release. I can´t describe how strange is this picture. May be you can really post is by this same though. Letting go the picture out. Well it´s your tast, I respect it. But to me it is not a photography. |
