Makes the pulp of the fruit look kind of plastic - that's down to quite a lot of direct ferlection, I would guess. I think lighting from a shallower angle would help add some definition - this seems quite flat to me. |

Big Drop Lets Go Smaller Dropletsby DyslexicComment by fannyb: I'm guessing people aren't thrilled with this photo as it is water drops. I'm not tired of them yet, so good idea as far as I'm concerned. I would have liked to have seen the droplets in line with the big drop, I know that's no easy task. Also, the image in the droplets takes away from the simplicity of this shot. Maybe try a neutral background. One droplet has a little glare in it which is a bit distracting.
