The juxtaposition of the static sitter to the time lapse passers-by makes this an interesting and captivating photo. This shows creative thinking outside of the box -- a ten!

I cannot fully explain why I like this so much. Partly it's the color I think. Partly it's about the action swirling around the fixed subject. Partly it's that it's perfectly titled. Just a very pleasing image. Thanks.

This is great! I love the contrast of the world speeding by (in an impressionistic way) versus the stillness of the couch, plants, and the restfulness of the the five people sitting on the couch.

Comment by Arcanist:
Hmmm....motion, highlights, deeply saturated colors, an unbalancing angle of attack. This comes off as artsy to me. Not the expected type of candid, but fits the challenge even if it is a round peg in a square hole. I cannot say there is an abundance of interest in the piece for me, but I think that is due to the crop and placement of the majority of color. Ithink a hefty rotation of the subject to place on an angle and a more rectangular crop would seem to give this a bit more edge, but don't do anything to lose the plants on either side. Losing the left top foot and burning the largest blowout on the center top would be ok though.

I think this has a potential that is yet unexplored so am bumping this from my original 3 holder to a 5.

Very apt title. Like the motion blur of background that heightens those sitting in the oasis.Like the colors. Maybe less tight crop at bottom putting them a bit more towards center if the shot allowed for it. Nice capture and good luck.

Nice take, for me the colours are a little distracting, however the image does have a wonderfull surreal quality
