Thank you all for your comments on my first challenge entry. I admit it wasn't the strongest of entries. There will be more and they will be better. When I took the shot I didn't have the challenge in mind. "leaf" hit the nail on the head. When I looked at the shot on the computer it made me think "What would a BMW dream about?" At the top of the list of design and engineering for the road, it is destined to live life on the ground. So, I thought it might dream about flying or soaring through the trees ("God's design"). Oh well, too many beers that night I guess. On to the next one.

This a new 3-series? I don't know - it's a good choice of subject, but I do think you've chosen a fairly ordinary aspect of the design. True, everyone seems to focus on light clusters and the like - but your shot is more about providers of great design, rather than the design itself. Also I thought the trees reflected are a wee bit distracting - perhaps a bit of cropping might be good..? I want to give this a 6.5, but I can't, so I'll round it to 7.

I can appreciate it. I understand the logo is enough, but I bet the client would want to read 'BMW'.

interesting shot. i think i like the reflection of the tree.. perhaps i can draw some comparison to the engeneering of nature and the engineering of man... nice crop
