You would have fun waving your camera around for a second or so and I guess the lights make a lot of lines, but for it to be serendipity wouldn't the lights have to have done something like create a face or a heart or the circuit diagram for Silverstone?!

Good idea! I think it might have been better even closer though, and perhaps with some color to punch it up (though if really close, B&W might have shown stronger contrasts/textures IMHO.)

Definitely, obviously texture, at least. But there's no shape, no coherence to the composition: little depth, not a great deal of variety, in short nothing to draw and hold the eye. Monochrome is effective, as it definitely makes the image about surfaces rather than colour. It's just too uninteresting an image for me, I fear.
