I like the way the thirds and halves work in this one - why does the word Mondrian come to mind?

Great tones and grain in b&w.

Somewhere I've a couple of pinholes from side challenges of old. I'll have to bring the out and play with them again. Thanks for reminding me.

I don't know how you took this (I wish I knew) but it reassures me that the world is still a nice place

Show us how it's done. A wonderful image pulled from the magic hat of daily life. I love the heavily grained shading of tones. The basket of bottles is a bundle of tulips left at the door of one's inamorata -- but no, even better, it's just what it is. The beginnings of a centrally divided photo are playfully batted aside by the bottles in the doorway. An engaging sensibility.

Comment by streetpigeon:
I like how the hawsers quickly fade from focus once they explode from the bottom of the frame. The game bokeh of everything underneath affords great latitude of interpretation. What I see is the first stage of building a hanging bridge across an Andean chasm. Next comes the walkway. Or the food-drunk view of a wishbone after Thanksgiving dinner. Very interesting.
