Composition is good. The lighting is not. I would suggest shining a light over cowering woman as the focus is there.

Social commentary... ok. Stepping aside from that, the image has no sense of location or situation.. Without more of the context, the message flass a litle flat. technically, I think it's all right, but the tones are a little flat. I don't know, in this case, that black and white, without heaps more contrast, adds anything.

I think you would have been better off going in even closer, and filling the whole frame, instead of leaving the shape outlined. All the same it is a very good shot
