Cosmos at Jan's placeby snsComment by Curious: Interesting composition. Obviously a lot of thought and work in setting it up. The colours work well together. The focus does seem a little "soft" and it seems like the jpg compression may have been a bit heavy as there seem to be some "colour artifacts" around the subjects. Good idea though. |

morrelsby snsComment by dsa157: I think this is more an example of shallow depth of field |

morrelsby snsComment by GolferDDS: Had the whole picture been in focus you would have scored much better. |

morrelsby snsComment by MrAkamai: Deep DOF means everything in the frame must be in focus. I'm sure you've read that by now so I'lll comment on other parts. The foreground mushroom seems a bit oversharpened. The other two show signs of compression. Lighting is a bit strong, too. |

morrelsby snsComment by dr rick: Interesting subjects with good composition and lighting. But the back subjects are not in focus and that is distracting. This would be a great photo if it had deep DOF. |

morrelsby snsComment by hgpayne: This is the antithesis of DOF. All should be in focus for this challenge, no? |
