	Earthquake Bolt by davidbedard Comment by whagerbaumer: Midday is a difficult time to produce to take pictures of flowers. One or two more days would have allowed more blossoms to emerge. The black of the shadowed space hides bare earth but this can become attractive with a camera which allows aperture control.

	Earthquake Bolt by davidbedard Comment by David.C: Pretty flowers. The flower buds give a nice contrast of new against the old implied in the rust, but the composition seem off to me. The spokes draw my attention toward the center of the 'Bolt', so perhaps if it was not so near the center of the photo it would have worked better.

Very nice warm color, good placement of the subjects, and the crop is interesting. It seems to be a little noisy, especially around the dark round edges near the bottom. Still a nice image. ~Heather~
