The texture of a handworked timberby jgawrychComment by e301: This appears quite indistinct - not simply because of the very shallow depth of field bt more because that area within the focal plane doesn't have the quality of light needed to really show the texture. There are areas where the feel ought to be evident, but the distinction between those and the more out of focus areas is small. |

The texture of a handworked timberby jgawrychComment by karmat: Classic texture. The bw and white also works well, I think. I'm not finding much of a focal point, though. Perhaps, if there was a rusty nail or something in the picture to give the eyes somewhere to go, besides out the top of the frame, it would be more effective. |
