Horny Fellowby TLL061Comment by melismatica: This is too washed out looking and all those rocks in the background are distracting. It needs greater contrast and shorter depth of field. |

cloudy dayby TLL061Comment by Rooster: very nice idea hear. I like it a lot. The only thing I would say to improve is to have a tighter crop and change the angle, which creates the slant that is slightly distracting to me. |

cloudy dayby TLL061Comment by BobsterLobster: Some nice colours, textures and lines. But there's not enough here to keep me interested, and the composition doesn't convince me. The diverging diagonals seem badly thought out. |

cloudy dayby TLL061Comment by Rasai: If there could have been a person gazing out from under the cloud on the far left window, the nicely composed picture may have been even more appealing to me. |

cloudy dayby TLL061Comment by darcy: this is an interesting shot, the three shapes play together nicely and the refletion is nice, especially the way the windows brake it up.
it looks as though you ignored the lines that are happening in this image. it owuld have made a stronger impression had you followed the lines of the clapboard, paralleled then to the top and bottom edges of the photo. i should also point out that the brake in the top left corner and the reflection of what looks to be a white wall in the left window are distractions that, if avoidable, should not be present for maximum impact. |

fire islandby TLL061Comment by gerdagrice: This is a nice, sharp and clear photo. However, I think that it would have been quite a bit more effective if the main subject hadn't been so central in the frame and the flag hadd either been out of the frame entirely or appeared larger than it does from the POV from which you've taken the shot. A different choice of angle would have helped, I think. |

fire islandby TLL061Comment by e301: Too much zoom, or too much cropping out of the original, or too much sharpening? This doesn't do mych for me - the composition, perhaps, as much as anything - too crowded together, and the negative space isn't well organised. Even with the flag there. |
