I think just a slightly different crop - so that the gourd isn't so centered, would make this a much more powerful photograph. Excellent DOF and wonderful colours.

You've managed to catch an unusual moment that is also humorous, which is exactly what makes images like this stick out. The exposure is good, which is quite difficult with gorillas because they are so dark. You have good details in the face and texture in the hair. The eyes are a little dark but you've got the catchlights so they still communicate with the viewer. Kinda reminds me of 'see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil'. Fun shot!
