Wonderful subject, superb composition. On my (uncalibrated) screen the overall effect does seem a bit dark. The dark sky is fabulous but I wonderful if it might be wise to lighten the rest a little?

It's about one shot of Tequila out of level, but the scene and color in this is lovely : ) I think that I would have moved a little closer to the pool to eliminate some of the dark space in the foreground. Maybe the reflection of the moon from the pool didn't allow that. One day later, and the moon would be at a higher angle at the same time of night, allowing you to angle up some. Seems like a tranquil time there.

For him to be just sitting there I think you should have brought it in a lot closer, the scenery doesn't add much to the image. If you wanted to leave it all in perhaps have him in a more active pose (running around, playing, etc) and include more mountains, less grass as the grass isn't very interesting at all.

You're trying to incorporate the surroundings into the shot which is a good thing - it gives the image context. However, your subject is way to small in the picture. To my mind, it would have been a much better shot if you'd have tightened up on your subject and tried to place a unique object in the back ground.
