Of all your Baba's series this one is my favorite.
I love the somewhat over-sharpening feeling of this image. The colors give it a wonderful warm and living feeling.

this is a wild image. excellent work with the focus. i love the way those eyes come piercing out of all the surrounding chaos. i hope this doesn't get overlooked in this monster challenge, and that viewers will give it time. good luck in this challenge, and in 2005, as well!

Great stuff as usual mehmet. Your self portraits are always a treat to look at. There's something about the lens you use and the processing you do that gives them a really interesting illustrated almost cartoony look that I love. 10

Ok. I'm going to go out on a limb here. I've seen the pictures of your father that you've been posting--you know they are excellent.

But here is your father, happy that you are interested in capturing him and proud that you are such a fine artist. Here also are his questioning eyes--is this all you are going to do while we visit? Here are his loving eyes--I will be patient. Here is is mouth--slightly amused. Here is his chin, ready to say something--he will keep silent for the moment. Here is his forehead, tired, concerned, but not closed to you--I am old, there is little time, you are so young and I have so much to tell.

(By the way, he is more handsome than you.) ;-)
