I must be hungry. For some reason, this shot reminds me of a "funnel cake". Around here that's a fried dough treat with powdered sugar on top! Texture here is nice. Photo seems a little dim, but it's hard to get snow just right I think.

I found this one a little hard to judge.
I cant make my mind up as to whether or not it complies with the rules of the challenge which states"Take your best photo representing one of these signs".
I know that in most competitions it would have been rejected as not fulfilling the category but I think in DP challenge a little more lattitude is OK.
Pictures of blue sky and clouds can be good - bad - or indifferent. The main criterea withing that is
a: Is it well exposed
b: Does it show something
c: Is it aesthetically pleasing.

I think the idea was OK but it would have been worth reframing and cropping to try and make a particular cloud a centre of interest for the eye - or concentrated on getting a patch of sky framed by cloud.
