	baby dominic.jpg by nordic Comment by nordic: This is a picture of my brother and his son (Dominic), he was about 2 weeks old when this was taken with a Fuji 602z. I like the contrast in the photo that the backlighting from the window gives and also the way Dominic is being held. I recently joined my local Camera Club and plucked up enough confidence to enter this image into the annual b/w image competition. I was very happy as this placed 3rd out of 40 entries. It now is proudly hung on one of my walls at home.

	baby dominic.jpg by nordic Comment by ursulas: What a lovely image. So much tenderness in the few lines of the father's face that are visible. So much poignant newness in the baby's face. Very moving. The angle you've chosen is interesting for the figures -- gives the father a sort of protective hoverning-ness -- but the resulting chair angle is a bit disorienting.
