The other sideby AndelainComment by photom: I love the idea here! It's one of the most intriguing uses of selective desat in the group. It is also appropriate that you put the farmland in green and the city in grayscales. Exposure right on, composition ok (but i'd prefer the river - and therefore the entire scene -a bit more diagonal.) This should finish within sight of ribbonsville. |

The other sideby AndelainComment by redmoon: i really like this. i think this should get bonus marks alone for originality... post editting i think i might have liked to have seen the change from mono to colour through the middle of the river, with fade between the two extremes. how you would do that i'm not entirely sure, but i think it might be worth trying... also, it might actually be like that, but the bridge appears a bit too blue? aside from those minor points, i think this is a great take on the challenge, really witty and appeals to me muchly. 9. |

The other sideby AndelainComment by MotoCycleBoi: Fantastic idea and my top choice for this challenge!!!
But maybe the river should been desaturated to? And maybe the other side should have been "on the other side" so to speak? Now the grass is greener on THIS side... Still very good. |
