That is one colorful bird. I like the way the curves of the cage bring your eyes down to the bird.

I just LOVE this photo! The contrasting direction of the white lines give it such a unique and clean look, and I love the capture of the bird's expession too. Very cool bird photo!!

I thank you for your comment .
But I don't believe there was any backlash from the voters here, because this is not my usual type of shot for one and also I am not that well known here .
I think it got crushed for 3 reasons.
1) The chessy backdrop,which I will never use again! LOL
2) The funky lighting which was an experiment,I lighted the front girls face with a goldreflector from a ceiling light and the angel in the back had two stropes with umbrellas covered in off white sheets . It all came out pretty much as I had planned ,I just did not have enough room to get back far enough to get the DOF to where I wanted it .
3)The title seemed to confuse some commenters ,there was no story behind the shot ,nor was I trying to make a statement.
It was just me spending good time with my family and all of us having fun with my hobby and that is what we came up with nothing more .
Thanks to everybody who took the time to comment on it .
