Soft Sevenby Rando D300Comment by gloda: The petals (?) don't come out well enough against the backgound. You made a good use of the DOF, though. Either the back- or foreground should have been more colorful.
I like that the petals form a seven. A slight rotation (10 degrees) would have made it clearer, though. I didn't notice it right away. |

Soft Sevenby Rando D300Comment by DaisyGirl: The detail you've used allows for each seed to appear completely individualistic, even as part of the group. Very nice. Was this naturally occuring, or did you have to do some manipulation? |

Soft Sevenby Rando D300Comment by Kylie: What a beautiful, graceful flow on a soft, naturally diffused background. Great detail and framing of the composition. |

Soft Sevenby Rando D300Comment by Dr.Confuser: Well done. Subject nicely focused. DOF feels about right to me. Wonder how you got 'em all to line up so nicely? |

Holes In Timeby Rando D300Comment by Bud: Nice photo. One thing that would have helped here is if the tree rings were clearly visible. This can usually only be achieved with sanding. |

Holes In Timeby Rando D300Comment by e301: I think, for this challenge, I'd have wanted to emphasise the rings of the tree somewhat - they're hardly visible here. Compositionally effective. |

First Impressionby Rando D300Comment by bledford: Fresh and vibrant. I like this relationship established between the woman and puppy. The background is a distraction though. I also, I think you could have cropped some more out of the top and gotten a stronger image. Lastly, the post-processing seems to have smoothed out the woman's face a bit too much, making her face seem flattened. |
