I think a little more DOF would have helped here. You could have switched your camera to Aperature Priority and increased your DOF by stopping down the aperature to a smaller size (larger number). It just fades to a blur too fast for me. But it's a good effort, and I'll go with 6. (If you already know all this, please forgive my pedantry.)

I feel that the main subject here is the switch - being located in the framing where it is, and being green. I would not have been bored with the branches of the train tracks - that seems more appropriate.

Not sure how the switch is related to branch. The RR tracks are so I will give you that. Really think a larger DOF would work well for this image.
